WHO WE ARE
Law Firm Istrefi was established in 1980 by attorney Zaim Istrefi after his ten years of experience as a Judge at the former Municipal Court in Suhareka and the District Court in Pristina.
Initially, we worked with civil issues concerning property disputes and claims for damage caused by car/vehicle accidents.
Throughout years of operation, we specialized in resolving other civil disputes and as a result, our business grew. We focused on building strong client relationships as the happy client’s kept coming back and they also recommended our services to others.
Since 2000 we managed to successfully complete more than 6,000 (six thousand) disputes. We proudly point out this number and the word “success”, because to reach this number of solved disputes in Kosovo, a number of generations is needed.
Thanks to our commitment and hard work, over 99% of cases have been accomplished by court decisions and realized with maximum compensation.

- Case review and provision of professional legal advice
- Preparation of claims, lawsuits, proposals, pleadings, legal remedies, complaints, and other submissions concerning civil, commercial, administrative, criminal, and enforcement procedures.
- Representing and defending natural and legal persons, business companies, and other legal entities in civil, criminal, commercial, and administrative issues as well as enforcement procedures.
- Preparation of requests, application processes, and contracts between existing business parties and those that wish to start a new business in Kosovo.
- Preparation of contracts between natural and legal persons including employment contracts, contracts for services, sales contracts, contracts for rent, and other contracts as per client’s request.
- Performance of other legal actions on behalf of local or international clients, based on which rights are enjoyed and freedom and other interests are protected as provided by Law.
